About Dream

We are a tailor-made travel agency for people who want to experience the world for real: the right waves, the right mountain, nature at its most beautiful. Every trip is designed from scratch by people who know the destination first-hand.

Our story

Dream was born in March 2018 in São Paulo, Brazil, founded by José Eduardo Gonçalves Sanches. At first, the idea was to serve Brazilian surfers only.

It came from a personal experience. On his first surf trip abroad, booked with a specialist surf agency, José Eduardo realised that people who knew surf did not always know what an excellent travel operation looks like. With 24 years of experience in travel operations at the time, he decided to bring the two together and started operating surf trips for Brazilians.

In 2025, Dreamsurf expanded into snow trips, exotic and cultural destinations, drawing on knowledge built over many years, and took on a new name: Dream Experience Travel.

Today our operation is based in Panama. We keep looking after our Brazilian clients with the same care and have expanded to the Americas and Europe.

A surfer with a passion for nature and for getting to know other cultures, José Eduardo has worked in travel since 1994. He has been to more than 35 countries, some of them more than ten times, and every trip deepens his first-hand knowledge of each destination.
