Ayampe is the strategic hub of the central coast, with point breaks just 10 minutes away and more than 25 surf spots within a 2-hour radius — from hollow beach breaks to world-class point breaks. Montañita is 30 minutes to the south, and San Mateo, about 2 hours away, is home to one of the longest lefts in the country. You will be accompanied by professional surfer Fábio Gouveia plus an experienced local surf guide, who will take you to surf the right waves, at the right tide, with no crowd.
Nestled between the tropical jungle and the Pacific Ocean, Villas Los Olivos is a boutique retreat in Ayampe, a surfer's village on the Manabí coast of Ecuador. There are just six spacious suites featuring vaulted ceilings, handcrafted furnishings, and hand-painted Italian tile floors. A pool with an outdoor pavilion and fireplace completes the atmosphere. The beach is a 5-minute walk away.
