SOUTH AFRICA EXPEDITION – Safari & Cape Town

The trip

Discover two of South Africa's most iconic destinations on a journey that blends adventure, nature and culture. The itinerary begins in the exclusive Greater Kruger region, where open-vehicle safaris bring unforgettable encounters with the famous Big Five and a stunning diversity of African wildlife. In the second part of the trip, the experience continues in the vibrant Cape Town, considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Set among mountains, beaches and spectacular scenery, the itinerary includes visits to Table Mountain, the historic Bo-Kaap neighborhood, the V&A Waterfront and the legendary Cape of Good Hope. Accommodation During the safari, accommodation at Nthambo Tree Lodge or similar. In Cape Town, accommodation at Cape Town Hollow Boutique Hotel or similar.

Regular departures with shared services. Transportation is provided as outlined in the itinerary by van, safari vehicles, boat and domestic flights where included. Accommodation in hotels and/or lodges with private bathroom, in double/twin rooms. Solo travelers share a room with another participant, unless a single supplement is purchased. Couples may request a double bed room, subject to availability. Extra nights before or after the itinerary may be arranged subject to availability and at an additional cost. Departures are open to solo travelers, couples and groups, subject to the maximum number of participants per departure. Minimum age: 14 years, accompanied by a guardian. There is no maximum age, though good physical condition is recommended. Private trips are available for families with children under 14 or groups wishing for exclusive service. Confirmation of regular departures is subject to a minimum group size of 5 participants.

Day by day

1. Day 1

   Day 1 – Arrival in Greater Kruger

   Welcome at Hoedspruit Airport and the start of the experience with a transfer by safari vehicle to the lodge, located in the exclusive Klaserie reserve, one of the most privileged areas of Greater Kruger. The journey itself provides the first encounters with African wildlife. After check-in, time to rest and prepare for the afternoon safari. At the end of the day, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2

   Days 2 & 3 – Safaris in Greater Kruger

   Days devoted to exploring the reserve with two daily safari activities, conducted in open vehicles or guided bush walks, according to the schedule. In addition to the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo), guests may spot giraffes, zebras, impalas, kudus, warthogs, cheetahs, wild dogs and a wide variety of bird species. At the end of each day, return to the lodge to enjoy the African sunset and the exclusive atmosphere of the reserve.

3. Day 3

   Day 4 – Cape Town

   After breakfast, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for a flight to Cape Town (approximately 2h30). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel with the rest of the day free for independent activities. We suggest a stroll along the Sea Point Promenade or soaking up the atmosphere of the V&A Waterfront, one of the city's most beloved landmarks.

4. Day 4

   Day 5 – City Tour in Cape Town

   A day dedicated to Cape Town's top highlights. The program includes a cable car ride up Table Mountain (subject to weather conditions), a visit to the traditional Bo-Kaap neighborhood, known for its colorful houses and rich cultural heritage, as well as a tour of the city's historic district and the V&A Waterfront. A wonderful opportunity to explore the history, culture and landscapes that make Cape Town one of the most admired cities in the world.

5. Day 5

   Day 6 - Cape of Good Hope

   Full-day excursion along the Cape Peninsula, taking in some of South Africa's most breathtaking scenery. The itinerary includes a visit to the famous Boulders Beach penguin colony, the Cape of Good Hope, and Cape Point, along one of the country's most scenic coastal roads. Throughout the journey, you will be treated to stunning beaches, mountains, and the rich vegetation of the Fynbos biome. Return to Cape Town in the late afternoon.

6. Day 6

   Day 7 - Departure from Cape Town

   After breakfast, hotel check-out and end of services. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your return flight, bringing this unforgettable South Africa experience to a close.
