Ayampe is the strategic hub of the central coast, with point breaks just 10 minutes away and more than 25 surf spots within a 2-hour radius — from tubular beach breaks to world-class point breaks. Montañita is 30 minutes to the south, and San Mateo — about 2 hours away — is home to one of the longest left-handers in the country. You will be guided by an experienced local surf guide who will take you to surf the right waves, at the right tide, crowd-free.
Just a few minutes' walk from the town center and the beach, this welcoming surf camp brings a home-away-from-home feel to your trip in Northern Ecuador. Surrounded by nature and dining options nearby, it offers private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a balcony with a hammock, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, hot water, and a tropical garden to unwind between sessions. In the event of cancellation by the client, an administrative fee of 15% will be charged on the package value, in addition to the penalties listed below:
- the 50% deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable - between 59 days before check-in and the check-in date, a penalty of 100% applies
