The trip
A private three-day experience starting and ending in Uyuni, combining the landscapes of the world's largest salt flat with the Thunupa Volcano region. The itinerary takes in the Train Cemetery, natural water springs, salt extraction areas and Incahuasi Island, and includes an Apthapi-style lunch, perspective photography and a sunset accompanied by wine and snacks.
On the second day, the journey continues through Colchani to Coquesa, on the slopes of Thunupa Volcano, where ancient ruins and mummies can be found. The program includes two nights at Hotel Palacio de Sal and must be combined with arrival and departure transfers to and from Uyuni, which are not included in the package.
The Uyuni Salt Flat is located at approximately 3,600 meters above sea level. It is recommended to stay well hydrated, eat light meals and avoid excessive physical exertion during acclimatization.
The itinerary includes travel by 4x4 vehicle through remote areas, with exposure to cold, wind, intense solar radiation and significant temperature variations.
Passengers with cardiac, respiratory or other health conditions should consult a physician before traveling. It is recommended to bring warm clothing, sun protection, sunglasses and comfortable footwear.
