The trip
Puerto Varas is one of the main gateways to the Andean Lakes region in southern Chile. Surrounded by Lake Llanquihue and landscapes shaped by the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, the city blends nature, German heritage, excellent cuisine, and easy access to some of the most iconic scenery in Chilean Northern Patagonia.
This 5-day, 4-night itinerary brings together the region's essential experiences: a visit to Llanquihue and Frutillar, an excursion to Osorno Volcano, a full day on the Island of Chiloé taking in Castro and Dalcahue, and a sailing trip across Lake Todos los Santos to Villa Peulla, with lunch included. The package also includes arrival and departure transfers between Puerto Montt Airport and the hotel in Puerto Varas, as well as accommodation with breakfast at the selected hotel.
Day by day
Day 1
Day 1 – Arrival in Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas
Arrival at Puerto Montt Airport. Welcome reception and semi-private transfer to the hotel in Puerto Varas. Check-in, with the rest of the day free to relax or take your first stroll through the city.
Day 2
Day 2 – Llanquihue, Frutillar and Osorno Volcano
In the morning, depart to explore Llanquihue and Frutillar, two charming towns shaped by German heritage, with traditional architecture and beautiful scenery along the shores of Lake Llanquihue. The itinerary includes stops at Llanquihue, the Monument to German Settlers, Frutillar and the Teatro del Lago area.
In the afternoon, visit Osorno Volcano, one of southern Chile's most iconic natural landmarks. The excursion winds through the landscapes surrounding Lake Llanquihue and continues up to the Osorno Volcano Ski and Mountain Center, with time to take in the region's sweeping panoramic views.
Day 3
Day 3 – Island of Chiloé: Castro and Dalcahue
A full day dedicated to the Island of Chiloé, with visits to Castro and Dalcahue. The experience includes sailing across the Chacao Channel, the island's distinctive landscapes, wooden architecture, palafitos (stilt houses), traditional churches, and time to explore local markets, waterfronts and cultural highlights.
Day 4
Day 4 – Lake Todos los Santos and Villa Peulla
Depart for Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park and set sail across Lake Todos los Santos, also known as Lago Esmeralda. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes before arriving at Villa Peulla. The experience includes lunch and free time for optional activities such as trekking, canopy or horseback riding, which are not included in the excursion price.
Operational note: during the Chilean winter season, from April 4 to September 5, this excursion may be subject to adjustments due to weather and safety conditions. During this period, the stop at Saltos del Petrohué is not carried out.
Day 5
Day 5 – Departure from Puerto Varas / Puerto Montt
At the appropriate time, semi-private transfer from the hotel in Puerto Varas to Puerto Montt Airport.

Payment
Price per person based on double occupancy. Payment can be made in up to 5 installments, with a 35% deposit via PIX and the remaining balance split into up to 4 interest-free credit card installments.
Important information
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of cancellation, an administrative fee of 15% of the total booking value will apply, in addition to penalties based on how far in advance the request is made relative to the check-in date.
Supplier penalties: Up to 14 days in advance: no penalty, when permitted by suppliers. 13 days or fewer in advance: penalty according to the conditions of each contracted service, which may reach 100%.
For accommodation, the specific policy of the selected hotel shall prevail, as communicated and confirmed at the time of booking.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR BOARDING – Chile
BRAZILIANS A passport valid throughout the trip or a national ID card (RG) in good condition, with a current photo and issued no more than 10 years ago. Driver's licenses, birth certificates and other documents are not accepted.
FOREIGNERS A valid passport and original RNE (National Foreigner Registration), when applicable. Visa requirements must be checked in advance according to nationality.
VACCINES
There is no mandatory Yellow Fever vaccination requirement to enter Chile. Carrying the International Certificate of Vaccination is recommended when applicable, especially after recent travel through at-risk areas.
